Someone Pass Me A Tissue

Weddings are a wonderous thing... as long as there are no bugs, bad weather, sunbathers, gate crashers, cameras without batteries, lipstick stains on the wedding dress and... my goodness, so many things can go wrong at a wedding.

I was commissioned to film a wedding last weekend. It's possibly the first wedding that I've filmed where nothing has gone wrong. Yes, I once had to convince the bride not to leave her groom standing at the alter. But this wedding, the day was gorgeous, everything went smoothly. We even got a cute tear or two out of the bride (usually the groom tears up). Possibly the only downside was having to dodge the photographers all day, but that always happens so it's no biggy.

To be so sure of who you want to spend the rest of your life with must be such a relieving feeling. I must say, being single, it's hard to picture where my life is going to be in 10-20 years time. Am I going to meet my Prince Charming or am I going to be Miss Independent Entrepreneur? I know marriage isn't always a walk in the park. I even know some guys who bite their toenails. But at least I can say "That toenail biting man over there is MINE". Whether I say it with excitement or reluctance is to be debated.

I don't know... I'm saving myself for Tom Welling, and while he's in denile, I'm gonna make my own life ;-)
