Previous blogs: Current | Blog#1 MY INSPIRATION
Recently I moved out to the country, moving out of home for the first time. What beautiful scenery! It's only 15 minutes from town, but out here I swear you could hear a pin drop. The birds tweeting, the cicadas, the rain on a tin roof (yes Australia does still get a little bit of rain) and…. the TURKEY. This thing is the only thing that disrupts the peace. *KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK* “What's that?” *KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK* *Looks around confused* *BANG BANG BANG* I look out my glass sliding door and there is a bush turkey, knocking on the door. REALLY HARD. How it doesn't knock it's beak off I have no idea. My art has been pushing forth a lot stronger ever since I've been out here. I used to live in a very built up town; it was full of trouble-makers. I admit I was so stressed back then that my artwork was little rushed, and it showed. But out here it's calm enough to take my time. Even though I'm young, my health has been failing a bit, but coming out here has helped a lot. Such good a little fresh air and independence can do to you. So hopefully soon you will see my work improve in leaps and bounds, as now I have the calm to concentrate…. And hopefully the turkey doesn't bother be too much or it's going in the oven.
*Looks around innocently*
...heh heh...
